Flower Care Tips
Most floral arrangements last 4-7 days or longer, depending on the flowers used and the care they receive. Follow these tips to ensure your flowers stay fresh and beautiful:

-
Fresh Water: Place flowers in a clean vase filled with fresh, room temperature water. Change the water every 2-3 days to keep it clean and fresh.
-
Trim Stems: Trim about an inch off the stems at a 45-degree angle before placing them in water. This helps the flowers absorb water more effectively.
-
Remove Leaves: Remove any leaves that will be submerged in water, as they can promote bacterial growth and cause the water to become cloudy.
-
Avoid Direct Sunlight: Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafty areas to prolong their freshness.
-
Use Flower Food: If provided, use the flower food packet included with your bouquet. Flower food contains nutrients that help extend the life of the flowers.
-
Check Water Levels: Regularly check the water level in the vase and top it up as needed to ensure the stems remain submerged.
-
Prune and Refresh: Remove any wilted or spent blooms from the arrangement to maintain its appearance and encourage new growth.
-
Change Water Regularly: Replace the water in the vase every 2-3 days, and repeat the stem trimming process to keep the flowers fresh for longer.
-
Keep Away from Ripening Fruit: Avoid placing flowers near ripening fruit, as the ethylene gas released by fruit can cause flowers to age more quickly.
-
Handle with Care: Handle flowers gently to avoid bruising or damaging delicate petals and stems.
